Our Managing Director, Andrew Park, will be speaking on the panel at the forthcoming “Energy Matters in a post-Brexit UK?” event, which is being hosted by the Energy Institute’s Yorkshire Branch in Leeds, in partnership with Leeds Sustainability Institute. Although Brexit has been postponed, it’s still on the horizon and the energy industry remains turbulent and uncertain. This event will offer delegates the views and ideas of industry experts on what might be coming next for the UK energy industry.
The keynote speech will be delivered by Louise Kingham, Chief Executive of the Energy Institute. Other people to join Andrew on the panel are Julia Szajdzicka, Managing Director of ND Metering Solutions and Chris Gorse, Professor of Construction and Project Management, Director of the Leeds Sustainability Institute and Head of the Centre of the Built Environment at Leeds Beckett University.
The event is being held at The Rose Bowl at Leeds Beckett University in the evening of Tuesday 14th May, with light refreshments and nibbles being served at 5.30pm and the main event starts at 6pm and ends at 7.45pm.
Sarah Fryer, Carbon Consultant at Swan Energy, says: “This event is a ‘must’ for anyone working in the energy, carbon or engineering industries and it will provide expert insight as well as the chance to raise questions and network with other like-minded professionals. It’s also a good opportunity to find out more about what the Energy Institute is all about!”. Sarah has played a role in helping to organise this event because she sits on the Energy Institute's Yorkshire Branch committee.
